As our schools grow and evolve, so does our investment in buildings and facilities. This year so far, we have completed a number of exciting upgrades in our schools.

At Wetherby Prep, recent investment brought an extension of the dining room facilities, which enabled an additional 40 seats at the table. A new staff room has been fitted on the ground floor to provide a better collaborative environment and dining facilities for the staff. The expansion of the art facilities has been completed, creating a new Art prep room, Art and DT studio with specialist equipment and a ceramics room with kiln and pottery wheels.

At Portland Place, new drama, art and science facilities were installed at 143 Great Portland Street. The drama department has already hosted its first outreach programme with Rosemary Works School for a music and drama masterclass, and completed a set of Year 11 exams.

The Wetherby School boys are busy enjoying a brand-new playground. At Little Wetherby, 19 Pembridge Villas, the first phase of the playground works brought a new sandpit with a timber play tower. Phase two will add a multi-level play structure. Meanwhile, at 11 Pembridge Square, we completed some front external works .

In Hampstead, St Anthony’s School for Girls has a dedicated new entrance for nursery and reception pupils. Playground works were also carried out to install a new netball court. Meanwhile, at St Anthony’s School for Boys, a new climbing wall has been installed to support the new EYFS curriculum requirements.

At Wetherby Senior, we further invested in on-site sports facilities to add a new spin studio to the Marylebone Lane site. Redecoration works have also been carried out to the common areas with wall graphics added to the reception areas and throughout the building.

Further afield, the rolling programme of redecoration works in the main building at Hilden Grange included new windows to the ground and first floor of the original building.

Finally, at Ogden-Codman House, the historic site of Wetherby Pembridge New York, redecoration works were carried out in Carriageway, back staircase and corridors and a new floor fitted in the Founders’ Hall.
