The spring term has now come to a close. As we reflect on the term we remember the exciting school trips, school performances, Mental Health Week and World Book Day. In the last two weeks, as the schools and colleges have closed due to COVID-19 we have been tremendously proud of the teachers, support staff and leadership teams who have worked incredibly hard to engage with their pupils through remote learning. Our three colleges have been supporting all their students, both internationally and domestically (including those who remain in the boarding accommodation) by continuing with regular lessons over Microsoft teams and checking in with students’ wellbeing. Our Wetherby Senior School and Portland Place School have also continued lessons and found creative ways to engage their students, including creative writing projects and home-fitness classes. We have seen some beautiful artwork and music projects on social media from our prep and pre-prep schools. We have also enjoyed seeing nursery staff reading stories and singing with children and their parents through Zoom.
As we reach the end of spring term here in the UK, our Wetherby-Pembridge School in New York welcomes back their students back from spring break, beginning their own remote learning journey.
We wish all our Schools and Colleges a safe few weeks ahead, whether that is enjoying the Easter break or engaging in remote learning.
