Wetherby School was founded in 1951 and is a pre-preparatory school for boys. The school promotes an energetic enthusiasm for knowledge and self-development. Each pupil is given individual care and attention for preparation for entry to the top London Day Schools as well as Boarding Schools.

Mark Snell, Headmaster

Mark Snell started at Wetherby in September 2005 as Deputy Head and was then appointed Headmaster in September 2008.

Previously he worked at Eaton House The Manor, Westminster Under and then King's College Junior School Wimbledon, where he was Head of Mathematics for 5 years.

Mr Snell studied Business Studies at the University of Westminster before completing his PGCE at Brighton University. He is married with two children and his wife, Sue, teaches Mathematics at King's College Wimbledon and is a former Olympic rower. Mark's wider family own Mowden School in Brighton and Ludgrove in Berkshire.
