St. Anthony's is a preparatory school for boys between the ages of five and 13 that has been operating in Hampstead, London since the 1950s. The school is Roman Catholic but welcomes boys of other faiths. The relaxed, family atmosphere is underpinned by a rigorous approach to learning and the majority of boys transfer to leading public schools. |

Chris McGovern, Headmaster
Chris McGovern joined St. Anthony's in 2003. He has taught in both maintained and independent schools, at all ages from 5 to 18. A former Downing Street adviser, under two Prime Ministers, and a member of various Government bodies, he represented the independent sector during the writing of the National Curriculum. |
