The Falcons School for Girls is the sister school to the Falcons School for Boys and educates girls from 4 to 11 years. The school is friendly with a family atmosphere and is located close to Ealing Common. The school takes great pride in developing the girls into happy, confident individuals ready to meet the challenges of their senior schools.

Joan McGillewie, Head Teacher

Joan McGillewie originates from Cape Town South Africa. She qualified as a teacher from the Teachers Training College in Port Elizabeth and went on to further her studies part time through the University of South Africa in Educational Management. She has recently completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Leadership Management at Sheffield Hallam University.

Before moving to the UK Miss McGillewie was Head of the Junior Primary School at the South African College School (SACS) where she went on to take up the position of acting Deputy Head of the Senior Primary School. On arriving in the UK she starting teaching at The Falcons School for Boys where a Deputy and Acting Head position followed. She was appointed as Head at The Falcons School for Girls in September 2008.
