Abbey College Manchester, located in the heart of the city's business community, educates students of 14 years and above. A broad GCSE and A-Level curriculum is offered and since being established in 1990, Abbey Manchester students have consistently achieved outstanding examination results enabling many of them to secure places on the most competitive university courses. |

Liz Elam, Principal
Joining Abbey College in Manchester in 1999, Liz was responsible for the academic and personal development of the sixth form. She was recently appointed Vice-Principal as well as maintaing her teaching responsibilities in Geography. Her degree in geography is from Manchester University and she is also an examiner for a major exam board as well as author of an AS revision guide. In her spare time Liz enjoys travelling and is also a lead singer in a rock band and a member of a choral society. |
