Abbey London Olympiad Success

Abbey London students continue tradition of Olympiad Success with Biology and Chemistry honours!

Xiaoyo Chen repeated last years’ success by obtaining another Gold award, whilst Saeed Mahdavi improved from Bronze to Silver in the same subject. Saeed also received a commendation in the biology competition, as did his fellow student Behnam Bibak.

In both subjects, the students attempted a very challenging paper designed to stretch their abilities and apply their knowledge well beyond the usual syllabus material.

Lin Di, Mahya Kalantari and Azin Dharvihshi also received certificates of participation for the chemistry Olympiad.

The students are pictured with their certificates and most of the chemistry department, after what will be for most of them their last chemistry exam, except for Xiaoyu, who has an offer to study chemistry at Imperial next year!
